I was the only breadwinner in the family for most of the marriage and now I am unemployed without income, he now has a settlement coming to him and he says its his money and he doesn't want to pay all the bills by himself, he is dogging our 3 kids because they haven't been able to find work in Detroit. My son was working with a car but someone stole the car and he lost the job. My feelings are hurt so much cause I took care of all the bills for years, and years by myself, and now he makes us all feel like failures. What should I do?

Do the children go to school and/or help out around the house? How do they act toward him?

Have you tried talking to him and explaining how you feel?

How was he about money matters when you were the main bread winner?
