Should I move in with my sister?
Hello everyone! Please feel free to be honest, this is big decision I will be making.

Should I move in with my sister. She moved out of my parents home last year and I stayed back with my parents. I have always felt that my parents have sheltered us way too much. I did not move away to college because of the fear of culture shock. This summer I thought hard and made the final decision to move on with my life, and take care of myself even find myself. I have never felt so sad even zombie like-till this year. Time to take care of me and stop putting others before me. I want to start a fresh life in a bigger city where she lives now. I have no support from my parents. My sister and I are very close would this be a wrong move? I would like to move away, I feel there is nothing here for me is this small town, in addition with struggling with depression and constant sadness.

Living alone is not for everyone. I know from personal experience that I am one of these people who can't live alone. I always have to have another person around me at home so it motivates me to get out of bed in the mornings.

I'd take a chance with your sister if you two really get along. Be sure you can gain employment in that city. The main thing of being a roommate to anyone is consideration towards the other person such as cleaning up your messes in the kitchen, pickup clothes, share cooking, etc.

I grew up in a very small town where I felt there was nothing for me and moved to a large metropolitan area for college. Nearly fifty years later, I am still living in that metropolitan area because I am able to connect with people of all cultures, eat a huge variety of foods from all over the world, be challenged by ideas in ways I would not be back in that farming community, have opportunities for work and play that are unprecedented.

I hereby cheer you on to move in with your sister and be a responsible roommate.
