    I want to act
I am thinking of being an actress. I want to be an actress badly. I have no experience and just graduated high school. I don't know what I should do. Does anyone have any advice? I really don't want to go to college for it. I was thinking about trying out at a playhouse or something

Yes, definitely try out your wings at a playhouse's auditions. Do public speaking too if you can. Is there a radio station in the area? What about going to a community college? Some have radio stations that you could try out for, plus their own stage productions, drama and musicals.

Also, take the time to evaluate yourself and figure out why you want to be an actress. This is a pivotal time in your life, and many people set their minds to a single goal early on only to find themselves dissatisfied years later, when it's too late to change their minds.

Take a couple years exploring your options. As long as you've set a career goal by your early twenties you should still have plenty of opportunities open to you!
