I am 22 y.o. and I'm over my uterus lol
I am 22 y.o. I have a hx of irregular periods, I had a miscarriage when I was 18 and basically I allowed my body to push it out and I went to the doctor and he said it didn't look like I need a D&C, but I was wondering if that was a reason I am experiencing so many problems since the miscarriage? Since the miscarriage I have been sicker than I've ever been. I developed a bladder infection because the process of miscarriage left me not wanting to let anything come out down there lol but suddenly I didn't have that "gotta go gotta go right now" urge. Then one day a yr later I started my period and it lasted for 3 months! It was super heavy , so heavy I was going through super plus size tampons every hour! And I have to be rushed to emergency because I passed out from losing so much blood. They did an ultra sound on my uterus and said that the lining of my wall is just really thick, but I don't know what that means for me. But now I am anemic, I have sinus infections at least 5 or more times a year, and now I recently have been on my period for a month and I was afraid of my 3month stint happening again so I went to the doctor to see if birth control could help stop it and it stopped for at least 4 or 5 day and now its been back on for a little over two weeks now and the cramps are getting more and more painful with each day and my bleeding is getting heavier and heavier with each week. I have a stressful job and these cramps and bleeding affects me at work and affects my emotions so significantly that sometimes its just down right annoying.

I had a D&C when I was 21 and I still had problems afterwards. The stress could have something to do with your cramping and major bleeding. After I had my son in march of 2010 I haven't had a period but the doctors can't seem to find anything wrong. I found another expert who said it could do with the thyroid. So, maybe you should have your thyroid checked out.
