Floor smells bad when mopping the floor.
    Hello.

When I mop the floor in a specific area in the apartment a bad smell arises. In addition, I noticed that at that specific area the tiles are loose. I'm guessing somebody tried to fix the problem (or created the problem) in the past. Lately, we've had the same bad smell even when we didn't mop the floor at that specific point.

    Any ideas?

By the way, it might be worth mentioning that this specific area of smelliness is located in front and between two bathrooms (See picture below: B1 = Bathroom 1, B2 = Bathroom 2, Sm = smelly area when we mop the floor.)

    Thank you,

Sounds like you may have mold growing under those loose tiles. Take them up and flush out the area with bleach.
    Hope this helps, Tom

I'd call the manager or owner and tell them THEY have a mold problem that is making you sick. Proper cleaning may be your job but repairing tiles is the job of the management.
