Can I use 32" blades on a 36" ceiling fan?
My 32" Hampton Bay Minute II fan has stopped working. There is a Minute III out but it is a 36" fan. A 36" fan won't fit in my 36" wide hallway. Can I install the Minute III but put my Minute II 32" blades on it?

Yes, if the 32" blades will fit the motor.

Depends on the circumferance of the motor, the blade housing pattern and the mount difference between the fans. Try putting just the blade on the other fan and see if it lines up.
