Can I have a witness in a visitation hearing in Ohio?
I have a court hearing scheduled in tuscarawas county Ohio on 8/17/11 to modify visitation with my children. Can anyone tell me if I can take a witness in with me, I can't afford a lawyer and no one seems to want to tell me if I can or not or how to go about it, if I am allowed. My ex and children moved to Florida in 2007 and our old visitation orders of every other weekend and every other holiday are still in effect, and I need to get them changed to long distance, but expect my to bring in a witness that is not above lying under oath. I am supposed to get them all summer every summer and every year, she threatens not let me have them when I get there. I know I need a lawyer, but have no money for one. My 10yr old wants to live here, she won't let him, the kids tell me she drinks excessively, the 10 yr old woke up and found a bag of marijuana by his head one morning, he has been asked to blow into one of the breathalyzers that is on his grandma's car to start it, I try to call them every week and it always goes to voicemail, and she tells them that I never call them, etc, etc. I need help!

You can call a witness but be sure to notify the other side that you will be calling a witness during the hearing. Does she have an attorney and does she plan on attending this hearing?

Is Tusc the venue where you got the original child visitation order was originally signed?
