    Cant remember a film
    I can't remember this film that I watch a while back; I think it came out around 2001 maybe.
    I can barely remember anything about it though apartt from this one scene.

    I think its an end of the worlds type film. I think the human race is forced underground after a war I think. The main character meets this family who have a child that can't speak. He stopped speaking because he was biten by a snake as a child.
    The scene I remember has the main character with the boy in his room; then a snake appears and the man throws a shoe towards the boy and tells him to kill it. The boy freezes, then the dad comes in and stabs the snake with a spear

    That's all I can remember, its not much and it's a little confusing but I hope someone can help me
