    How does my husband adopt my daughter?
    My husband wants to adopt my daughter. How do I get this done? The bio-father has already signed his rights over.

    The father signed his rights over? He signed the necessary papers to allow the child to be adopted - or something else?

    What State?

    That is highly unusual. The signing of the rights over part comes AFTER the adoption petition is filed.

    What are the exact circumstances?
