    Break through bleeding
I stopped taking my birth control (nuva ring) at the end of June. I was on it for about 5 years regularly. Last weekend, I took the day after pill. Today, I am experiencing break through bleeding. Is this to be expected?

Why do I have break through bleeding?
I stopped taking my birth control (the Nuva Ring) at the end of last month (June). I took the day after pill on Saturday of last week. I had breakthrough bleeding about an hour ago. It was minimal, but I just want to be sure that it's normal. Is it normal for this to happen after Plan B, or after stopping my birth control?
