    2001 diesel ford f250 customer support?
    My engine light comes on and the mph is staying still at 55 mph and my foot is on the peddle and it is all the way to the floor

    Have the codes read and diagnosed first.
    You may have a fault and the ECM is limiting the engine operation thus limiting your speed.
