    Windows xp home won't let me in
    I've tried to use my computer which is a hp with xp home. It tries to open but a small window informs me that:" when tyrying to update a password this return status indicates that the value provided as the current password is not correct." I don't know what that mean. I'm not trying to put a password in. please help me!

    Boot to the Recovery partition (it will tell you how during power up) and use the Repair option.

    Or logon from the Adminaccount and change the user password.

    There are two choices when you first power up, Setup and another Which will get into the Recovery Partition.
