Past due Child Support and GI Bill?
My youngest child is about to be 8 months old and his father (while fully acknowledging our son is his) refuses to help w/his care in almost every manner possible. The courts used his GI Bill as income when figuring his child support payments and he is going to school full time, but he has yet to pay even one payment. Our son is almost 8 months old and his father barely bought him a pack of generic diapers (which I had to argue w/him for to even get)--is there anything I can do to see that we regularly get his child support payments via his GI Bill? He has refused to pay the support for going on 2 months now and I don't see him stepping up to the plate of his own accord anytime soon.
