What can I do to help myself?
I've never minded before being alone at home. But after a very emotionally devastating break -up with my ex-boyfriend, I feel extremely sad and depressed when I/m home alone. What can I do to aliviate my sadness?

    1. Cooking
    2. Chatting online
    3. Listen to music
    4. Call friends

Why you have to stay home? Why not going out on your own? Must be some local events on news paper. I moved a lot for my life, don't always know people at the beginning. Dealing with loneliness can be tough but you have to reach out unless you are comfortable staying home alone.

Are sad and depressed because you have nothing else to do but think about the Ex and there's no one there to "take care" of you? If so, you need to do something more constructive with your time.

There is no shortage of things to do, if you go looking for something. If you don't already have a hobby or passion, maybe it's time to figure out what those things might be? Maybe you could volunteer some of your time - Even a few hours one night or on a weekend is a good start.

Heartbreak is one of the hardest things to go through. TRUST ME I KNOW. I'm getting through one myself. I suggest just trying to reconnect with people, maybe old friends that you haven't talked to in a while? Maybe that way you can get your mind off him, and start to keep moving on in your life. The sea is full of fish sweetie, the question is, do you know when to let go of them?
