Suddenly, no hot water in Shower, but plenty in sinks
Eventually the hot water has come on the last 3 days, but it takes 10 minute. I'm assuming it will eventually not come on at all. Any thoughts? I'm a single mom, and do not have someone helping me, and I HATE to call repairmen in, because it scares the heck out of me to have strangers in my house, and I always feel I am getting ripped off, so any guidance is greatly appreciated!

    Hi Denicec...

Turn off the shutoffs to the hot water under each sink and then try the shower again. If hot water is restored back to a reasonable delivery time then you need to open only one hot water shutoff at a time until you find which sink faucet is allowing cold water to flow into the hot water system. Then, you'll probably need to replace the mixer cartridge in the defective faucet to fix this.

If this fails to resolve the issue pop back and let us know the name brand on the shower valve, OK?
