Need to read instruction on disconnecting hose. All have release mechanism but can be hard to get you fingers on it some times.

All weights I have seen are held together by two screws, you separate the two halves then reassemble around hose.

Depending on the brand most weight balls come in two pieces which are mechanically held together. If yours is one piece you can get a two piece from a plumbing supply house. A brand and model# would really help.

Leaky Hose Faucet [ 1 Answers ]

So I've got an outside hose connection where I can't completely shut off the water. Even with the handle cranked tight, water still is coming out--and not just a small drip either, but at a reasonable volume. How can I stop this and get the valve shut? Thanks, Rob
