    Parental responsibility
    I am a step parent to two children of which I have parental responsibility. As a result of a relationship breakdown can I now relinquish these responsibilities ?

    Where are you located? In some countries like Canada the stepparent may be responsible for child support if the bio parent isn't doing their part.

    How were you given parental responibility?
