What is the statute of limitations on theft in Canada?
If when I was 17 I used to steal from my place of employment but never got caught, how long would they have before they could come after me. This is in regards to Alberta Canada and I am 26 years old.

If you never got caught, what difference does it make. I am sure you would know by know if they ever found out you were a thief.

To answer your question, for thefts under $5000 you can't be prosecuted after 6 months, this being the statute of limitations in Canada.
