Can I use plastic electrical boxes on metal studs
I am finishing an basement, but the home owner used metal studs, but to save on cost, I want to know if there are plastic boxes that I can use on this application.

Yes, Carlon ,and perhaps other manufacturers, make plastic boxes with brackets that can snap onto steel studs.

Obviously, boxes with only nails will not work.

If you can find boxes with brackets that allow screws will work also.
