So at my lunch table I sit at there is this guy. Lets call him John. So me and John are really close. John likes me but I don't like him and he has a friend. So Johns friend is like a wing man and tries to get me and John together. Lets call johns friend Robert.

So me and Robert were really close. We text all the time but that is over. I talk to Robert sometime, but not enough. I started to like Robert, and then I heard him sing. We had this concert and Robert sang and I think I'm in love with him. Only problem I don't think he likes me back. I know he likes this girl who is really pretty, but I don't think I am as pretty as her. I really love him and I want to be with him.
How do I make him like me
How will I know he likes me (because he always says how me loves me, buts its playful and he says it to everyone), and even if he likes me will he ever do anything cause John still likes me

There is no way to MAKE someone like you. He either likes you or he doesn't. And if he feels like being with you would ruin his friendship with John, then respect his loyalty to his friend and don't try to make him do something that he doesn't want to do.

You can't make someone like you but you can tell John you don't like him. That would be honest. Even if you told him you like his friend better.

I agree with everyone else on this thread. You can't make anyone like you, but you can be honest and tell John you're not into him.

It sounds like Robert is just being a good friend to John. If he's told you that he likes another girl, then that's proof positive that he's not into you.

Just let it go, find someone else. Besides, no one falls in love with someone just because they have a nice singing voice.

Telling John that you are not really into him is the starting point. Then, coming to Robert, you said you were close friends but its over. What happened? How do you know that Robert likes that pretty girl? If he himself has told it to you, could you please explain how that happened? Then we can decide what to do next.
