    Water lines for refrigerators?
My ice cubes when melted make my ice water taste unpleasant. I have stainless steel water lines to the ice maker. I know there are copper water lines you can use. What is wrong with my ice cubes ?

Could be something in the freezer that is causing the taste. SS lines are virtually non reactive, even less than Copper. Many of the lines are PEX and no taste.

If you have a water filter bacteria gets in filter along with dirt and forms a breeding place. It's really better in many areas to have no filter unless you change it often. Could this be your problem? DrTom4444
