Cars can often be searched without warrants.

And in any event, you don't have standing to assert someone else's Fourth Amendment rights. Did the PO find anthing?

Not enough info, if you are living in a home, "renting a room" they may search any and all common areas and your room and any area that you could have access to.

Example if other peoples rooms are not separately locked, they may well search. You can of course contest that search but since they are not using that search against those people, just again you, You gave up your rights to searches to be on probation.

So remember also if they find something and don't charge you with a new crime, merely use that to revolk your probation, your chance of getting any "evidence" thrown out is slim
