    Shower walls, float or backerboard?
    Retiling a shower is it best to have the new installation "floated" or is one of the backer boards (duroc, Hardi) better. In otherwords how do they compare?

    Depends on what you mean by "floated" Did you remove just the old tile or did the old substrat also get removed?
