    Amending a birth certificate
    I was legally married to another man I got my divorce November 22,2010 and my twin sons were born December 3,2010 and they have their daddy last name how do I get his name on their birth certificate

    Who is the father? You say they have "daddy last name", then ask how to get his name on the because. Doesn't make sense.

    Since the children were conceived while you were married, your ex husband is the legal father and his name would be on the birth certificate. To change this you need to go to Family Court and petition for a change. If you are trying to change to the bio father's name, you will have to first establish legal paternity.
