Carrier heat pump comes on and off inconsistently
When the heat pump will not run, the fan will not either. It seems to be an electrical problem of some kind, but it will eventually come on by itself without my having to flip the breaker or anything. Any suggestions?

Hi, How can you tell how old the unit is by the model or serial number? Serial is #3996e24342, model # is 38ycb03030300. Thanks!! spence
