I only ever saw this film once so can't really remember much about it, what I do remember was that the story was an animated one and followed the adventure of a dog, I think it may have at some point in the film befriended an old man or tramp and he became ill (something along those lines) I also seem to remember the dog saving a pup or a kitten from a burning house but beyond that I really have no idea. I've search all kinds of sites and haven't found anything that seems to be right... could I just have made this up?? Its seems like a deep memory in my brain that won't come out- and after the success of finding another of my child hood films I remembered in the same way (very vaugely) and whatching it again id like to find this one too. Sorry I can't be more specific but its going on at least 24yrs since I saw it my one and only time. Thanks (oh the dog may or maynot have been given a locket or name tag by he tramp?? Then again I could be imagining the greatest tale that never was!! Hope not)
