    Trouble installing bathroom gfci outlet
    Outlet isn't working I have 4 neutral and 3 black wires in box, with power on I get current from 2 each, I had power on each line side but outlet wasn't working I'm lost please help thanks:confused:

    Your description does not sound logical. I can think of no situation where you would have more neutral wires (white) than you have hot (black) wires.

    Please describe again. Describe like this. "I have 3 cables, each with a black and white wire."

    A wire is a single wire. A cable is two or more wires in an outer covering.

    Is this a single gang box with only an outlet or is it a two gang box for installation of an outlet and possibly a switch?

    Post a picture of wiring if possible.

    Is this new work or are you just replacing an outlet.
