Had a bad breakup with my overseas girl last may 2010. It's a long story. She is diabetic and can be ill quite often. We went out for her birthday last may and she was ill. I had traveled overseas to see her. She got up suddenly from her seat in the pub, and left me to go home. I was a bit stunned. I got no text/call over the space of 2 hr at all.

Thought she would have at least got a taxi home to her place with me. Strange behavior but perhaps diabetes was clouding her mind. When I got back to her house she was chilling' in front of the TV, clothes changed (casual clothes) and smoke in hand. Her previous 2 boyfriends have a history with drugs. I rashly packed the bags, and walked as I thought she left me to get her fix on way home. I got scared.

Been in touch over last few months. She made out like she has a guy but it appears to be just tea/coffee every few weeks and nothing more, but there is still a guy there on the scene . Eventually met up after I text her "all the best with the new guy, take care ". Things went well, great chemistry between us. Things have gone backward a bit. She is maintaining a guy is still on the scene, and we can't meet. Briefly, I have tried a rapport that won her over when we 1st met, but its not doing any good, its only humorous text's that she would like. I think this girl is very hurt by my walk out, and possibly can't take me back.

My approach has now been to sincerely apologized for my mistake (walking out) and for hurting her. I mean I probably did make a big mistake. I have tried to meet up again but it's a question she won't, or can't address. Currently I have said sorry and wished her all the best with the new man. Only time will tell if she comes back to me, or perhaps in a few months I might text or call her again.

There is a possibility that this girl is playing a clever game with me but I am willing to play the patient game now. I am certainly out and about meeting plenty of other girls but I was always happiest with the overseas girl. She does mean a lot to me, although I did walk out on her.

While you didn't explain why SHE left suddenly first, your leaving was a reaction, and it sounds like that point was never explained properly or resolved.

Doesn't matter any more because for one she has other romantic interests, Second, she obviously has no romantic interest in you and its seems all the apologies won't change that, so you have been demoted to part time text buddy, and maybe its time to give up on anything else with this female, and do your thing without her.

There has got to be someone out there and you are bound to meet her if you stop looking back over your shoulder. She may never change her mind, and its not that smart waiting for her to, not when there is a whole world to explore, and people to see, and things to do, that will make you happy.

If she is indeed taking drugs, it may never work out with her.

Hello, well it seems you like her,infortunately she doesn't feel quite the same, that's what I think , you did what you had to do,if she wants you she'll at least text you , don't waste time thinking about her, start a new and healthy relationship! Good luck!
