How do you get over an ex?
Ok so I am having trouble getting over an ex. We were really close and we broke up for many reasons but we really miss each other and I don't know how to get over it. I don't want to be with another person for a while. I think getting over someone depends on the reason of the breakup... Any advice? Thanks!

Take time to get over this person. It took me almost a year to get over my last big ex. It takes time to get over someone and it won't happen overnight.

Throw out everything that reminds you of him. Everything. Focus on you. Start working out or a new hobby.

Yeah that's a good idea. I actually started doing that but it was like wherever I went, everything reminded me of my ex. Also everything I did I still had thoughts of my ex. It's getting frustrating. And is it a bad idea to rethink the decision of our breakup? Because I could totally forget why we even broke up, thinking of all the good times we had. But thanks for the advice! (btw it was a girl just so you know haha)

Then I'd say get some closure. Ask directly why did we breakup, and see what the answer is. Then continue to move on. TIme is the only thing that heals wounds.
