    If you work do u hsve to pay child support?
    The father of my son can not pay child support because he is on ssi. Im om social aecurity and ssi yet I work so my funds from social security in suspended because I work. Do I have to pay child support for my child? SSA is monitoring my wages and sometimes I get a check from ssi. Do I have to pay child support. My children is with my mother.

    You have to pay support if a court ordered you to pay support.

    Just a side note... if your child is living with somebody else, you may not be legally obligated to support them at this time, but you certainly should feel morally obligated to do so. If the individual that has custody files for support, you may be required to pay it.
