    Perform the tests below:

If you mean by "won't turnover" that it doesn't start, the Ignition Control Module (ICM) may be bad. This component causes more vehicles to suddenly die than any other. Over time, heat destroys the microchip inside.

It should be simple to install and it doesn't require programming. It may be somewhat expensive, so rule out, the best you can, any other possibility first.

If you were tooling down the road and the engine just died on you, I would suspect the ICM. It's always a good idea to check for codes. Failing ICMs won't always throw a code, however. That's why I recommend replacing them every 120,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first. This is a very common problem on cars of this generation.

Are you certain that the timing belt is intact?
If that broke or sheared some teeth, you will be also have a no-start. The engine may turn over but not start.

CaptainRich is absolutely correct. Remove the oil filler cap, look inside, and have someone else crank the engine. If the camshaft does not rotate, the timing belt broke.
