I will also add, if and when you hook the water up, does the water come out of the gun when you pull the trigger ( I understand no pressure, but you should have water)

Also not wanting to sound wrong on it, where was it stored, could it have frozen over the winter.

But if it is one of those 100 dollar electric models we often call them disposable, since they are not worth fixing for any major issues and only last a couple years normally at best.

Thanks Chuck, yes water does come out but like you say no pressure... yea it could have got frozen in the garage over the winter
And yes I thought with it being 5 years old it may have lived its life... my nephew had two and will not by another due to the short life cycle... I never had an issue till today... thanks again.. Jeff

I have owned 5000 dollar commercial units in the past and still have a nice gas unit but guess what I own a 70 dollar small electric unit since it is easy to store, easy to get out for a fast car wash or drive way wash ( at 1600 PSI listed *** and that is not the real nozzle pressure) it does not really do a great job on side walks but is OK for a fast wash.

But if it is 5 year old, and you got 4 or 5 years out of it, get a new one from Northern Tool and Equipment or somewhere similar for about 80 bucks and wash all you want, dollar for dollar, they are still great little units
