    My tongue piercing was infected, then I took antibiotics, still discharge?
    I had a tongue piercing infection last week,it wasn't that bad but I took antiobiotics to stop it getting worse... all the symptoms have stopped and it doesn't hurt any more etc, but I still have discharge/pus coming from it... still infected? Or is it clearing up?

    It depends what colour the pus is. If it's bloody or yellow/green and has a horrible taste then its still infected but if it's clear or white with no smell or taste then its just the body healing itself. Make sure you clean it properly with alcohol-free mouthwash 2/3 times a day and rinse your mouth with water after you smoke and drink water with each meal.
