    Nose piercing!
    Hey, I was thinking of piercing my nose this summer but I'm scared that it would leave a mark or grow skin on top of the nose ring! Could that happen? Has it happened to any of you? And are there any dangers of piercing my nose?

    First off, I really hope you don't intend on doing the piercing yourself. Instead make sure you go to a reputable piercing establishment.

    Secondly, skin will not grow over the top of your piercing, it will close around the body of the jewellery, not the gem at the top.

    Make sure you follow aftercare instructions properly to prevent infection and scarring later on if you take it out and leave it out. DO NOT touch with unclean fingers.

    As for the pain, if you're wondering: it depends on your pain threshold. Your eyes will most definitely water so I advise waterproof mascara or none at all and it will hurt for a second.
