    Get a dog to eat?
Older dog, throwing up now twice a day, maybe more clear fuluid has not eaten for over 3 days been to vet , is on antiacid , metoclopramide, cyroheptadine
Is there a way to get them to eat without all the meds? Maybe meds now not working? Or try something else..
Has had an ultrasound and has a tumor, probably cancer but dog is 15 years old and do not want to put them through that.

Have you tried cooking for your dog to see if they can hold it down ? You could cook some rice and chicken (boiled to avoid grease) and mix it together. Also if you have a pressure cooker you can boil off the bones and mash them to add to the rice and they get the benefit of the marrow.
Start bland and work your way up from there.

What has your vet said about her age and prognosis?

Is she drinking and urinating as usual?

    How is her energy level?

What breed/breeds is she? Some breeds live longer than others. Where one might have a life span of 15-18 years, another is ancient at 9. It may be that it is her time and she knows it.

Many of us have or have had older dogs and know what it is like to be worried and concerned about our furry friends (in some ways, children) and how much it hurts. We welcome stories and pictures if you would to share. It can sometimes help in finding peace.

This is a difficult time for both you and for your dog. I went through this last Nov. with my 13 year old guy. At some point his suffering and my sorrow were getting in balance. I could not think about ending his life but he no longer had a life without pain. What has your vet said about her chances?
