Police strictly advised that we do not have ANY contact
WOW... my stroies are moving up a downhill ladder... well I finished it
Today I reported my boyfriend to hitting me and physically abusing me with camera survaillence... they have got him (it is 3 hours past) and the police office called me and notified me that they have done this. They don't know if he will stay in jail for the night or go home, but all we know is that he is GUILTY to somewhat point. I am not supposed to talk or interact with him AT ALL... and if anything happens I am suppoes to report it to the police...
Would they find out we still chat as normal friends
Or what would they do ?

You are the victim and he is the accused, you are not suppose to have any ( none, not a bit, no talk, no chat no nothing)

And why in the H... would you want to talk to someone as a friend, who abused you, and hit you. I am sorry but if you want to be friends with this person, after being abused, you need counseling.

But this is of course why I hated domestic cases when I was a police office, you call the police and yep within a day you are wanting to be friends, in a week, want him living with you ( if you were) and then wanting to drop all charges.

But no contact is just that, no contact, no text, no phone calls, no letters, no instant message,

He is not your friend, he is your attacker.

Chuck is 100% right. And what happens if you brings your "chat" to court to reduce your credibility? You need to wake up. No contact means absolutely NO contact.

You can do whatever you want to. The police can't stop you- but if an altercation happens again with you and your boyfriend, even if it's the boyfriend's fault- you may be in trouble.
