Coming off the pill and breakthrough bleeding
I have been on the pill for 3 months, I have breakthrough bleeding for the past 2 weeks as well as other side affects and have decided that hormonal contraception is not for me as I cannot cope with not knowing if I am coming or going and bleeding for so long. I was just wondering if anyone can help me or give me an idea of how long bleeding should last if I am coming off mid packet, or what side effects you usually get ? Thank you and advice is much appreciated

Are you taking the pill at the same time every day? If not, breakthrough bleeding can occur.

There are other pills out there that might be more compatible for you, you need to discuss this with your prescribing physician.
