    Recently I have been suffering with painful, swollen gums
    Recently I have been suffering with painful, swollen gums.. Some have reeceded, last night I went to visit my boyfriend and kissed him and found he had off breath like me after I kissed him.
    Does this mean he has caught my infection?

    Hello Liz:

    Nahhh. People don't "catch" gingivitis. They get all by themselves.. You can fix it, though. See a periodontist. No, it AIN'T cheap. I don't know how much you value keeping your teeth.

    Aw Thanks.. I was so so worried.. I keep reading crazy things on the internet and now I think has he caught it. I went too visit my dentist today and he says my gums seem healthy when they feel like they are going to explode and he has just given me a numbing moouthwash thing.. I seriously hope it works and I get better a.s.a.p..
