I have a heat pump with an older model thermostat. I just moved in here and the heat pump was already here, although it didn't seem to be properly taken car of at all. Furnace blower fan will not shut off
My blower runs continuously in Cool Mode with Fan in Auto mode. Unit achieves set temperature but fan continues to run. Selecting + 2 degrees above desired temp. will shut off fan. Is the problem a blower relay limit switch? In heat mode it works OK.
I have a York LP gas furnace and heat pump. The furnace fan will not shut off even if I turn thermostat to off position. I took the thermostat apart and it has a mercury switch for the temperature side, the mode side is not accessible. The furnace seems to work.
