Can baseboard radiators prespire due to humidity?
    Hi,

I have a situation where I think the baseboards radiators in an apartment are sweating due to the humidity and now warmer tempertures here in NYC in an apartment. Is this possible? I see some wetness underneath a few area's of the baseboards in different areas.

    Thanks,

    Sacha

Humidity in the air can condense on cold metal, but the metal is at room temperature, and I doubt moisture would condense on room temp metal.

Since you posted in the electric forum, have to assume you have, or think you have, electric heat.

Is it possible you have water filled radiators? If so, the cold water will help moisture condense on the metal.

I am wondering where I should have my humidifier in my home. Should it be by a cold air return or farther away, or by the thermostat? Does it even matter as long as I keep it running?
