    Searching for a movie by description?
    An old movie I saw once in 1999 where this couple's car broke down in the middle of nowhere and a trucker who happened to be passing by offered help, but it turned out the trucker was running a kiddinapping business by sabotaging vehicles of any mototrists pasing by that road and holding them hostage until they pay him, the trucker took the wife and locked her in the basement of a trailer. The police would not help the husband because there was no evidence of kiddinapping, finnally the man took matters to his own hands and rescued his wife

    I can't remember the title but I think Kurt Russle is in as the male lead role.
