Movie about cyborgs in the 80's?

I was little when I saw the sci fi movie about cyborgs(they both look like humans but machine inside) in the 80's(maybe late 70s or early 90s) I remember cyborg man played by actor like Kurt Russel who tries to rescue his girlfriend who is also cyborg. I remember the girl run out of energy (battery) and the guy tries to help her. I do not remember what happened next. Hope you can help me. Thanks
