My last period was March 11. I have taken 8 or 9 home pregnancy tests and also had one at the health department. They all said negative. Is there a possibility that I could be pregnanct with negative pregnancy tests?

It is possible.

The test at the health department, was it a urine test or a blood test?

If it wasn't a blood test, that would be my next step. See your doctor, ask for a blood test. If it's negative then explain that you haven't had a period since early March.

It was a uine test. I would like to go to the doctor but I don't have insurance. I am not sure what to do now.

It could be that you are stressing that is why you are not having your period. And if your not getting any positive than you might not be pregnant? But go and visit your doctor.

I was in the same situation, I did not get my period for 3 weeks, I also had about 9 to 10 hpts from different brands and all of them was negative, I did a urine test at the hospital it also was negative.
Last week I did an ultrasound and am waiting to get the results on Friday or earlier.

When you took the pregnancy test did you use first morning urine? Did you follow all the instructions?

I'd wait until your next period is due. If you miss that one, test again. Some women can take months to get a positive result even though they are in fact pregnant. There are even some women that never get a positive on a home pregnancy test throughout their entire pregnancy.

Yes it was first morning urine. I followed all the instructions. It may be that I am not getting a positive because I have to wait longer. I just found out that when my mother was pregnant with me and my younger brother that she never had a positive with either one of us throughout the entire time. Thank you all for your help.

It happens. Some women just never test positive on a HPT. I would still try again next month if you miss another period.

Do you have a planned parenthood around you? I'm not in the States, so I'm not sure how they work, but isn't it free? Do they do blood tests there?

If so, that may be something to look into. :)

We do but they don't do blood tests at this one.
