    Normal period
I recently stopped taking my birth control because of the way my body reacted to it, I started my period 4 days later (2 weeks before my regular period date) and it was really heavy the first day, light the second, and completely gone the third day. I now am having light brown discharge and I was just wondering if this was normal or not?

Your period will most likely be off for a few months after stopping the pill. In the meantime, you can get pregnant, so I hope you're using an alternate form of birth control.

If you've been having unprotected sex, then pregnancy is definitely a possibility. If you miss your next period, try a home pregnancy test. Even with protected sex, pregnancy is possible.

Light brown discharge is a sign of old blood, and does happen from time to time. That in itself is not a sign of pregnancy, but you can get pregnant, so that's always a concern.

    Good luck.
