    Is she pregnant?
Hi, my name is david and I am here with my fincee ashley. We believe that she is pregnant but all the urin test keep coming up negative and the doctors won't do anything further. This would be her first. She is having all the signs, always tired, nausea 24/7 her breast are tender and growing along with her stomach. She is having mood swings and weird cravings along with two hard places devloping in her stomach. I took two years of pre-med so I have a stepascope and we both have heard three distintive heart beats, one being hers and two others and I know there not hers because there all in different rhythm.. she always has her period on time the 10th through the 13th. Her last normal period was in march, in April she started on the 1th and stopped on the 12h then we made love and she started again on the 13th -14th. In may she lightly spotted the 9th and 10th.we believe she is around 6 weeks along. What advice could you give us?

You had better change doctors if the one you have will not 'do anything further'. An ultrasound would determine a growing fetus or fetuses.

I am not saying she is not, but at 6 to 8 weeks, are you sure you are hearing heart beats

    Baby's Heart Beat

Your baby's heart will begin to beat in the first trimester. Typically this cannot be heard with even a Doppler until the 9-10th week of pregnancy at the earliest, sometimes not until the 12-14th weeks of pregnancy. A baby's heart beat, often called fetal heart tones (FHT), is very rapid, much faster than an adult's. In fact it starts near 180 beats per minute (BPM) and around 12 weeks gestation settles into the normal range of 120-160 BPM for the remainder of the pregnancy.

Yes, I agree, at 8 weeks, there is no possible way to hear a rapid heart beat. OP doesn't say if they have been for a proper blood test at the doctor.
