    Comfortmaker Furnace
I recently purchased a new Comfortmaker Furnace, the problems is it runs for approx. 4-1/2 minutes, shuts off and then comes back on in 2 minutes. I have had a couple of people check and they said that nothing is wrong with it. Any suggestions on what the problem might be?

If you are still under your warranty period I would keep hammering at the original installer. Just be very, very persistent with them and tell them your are not satisfied and want to see their written satisfaction policy. I'd even call the manufacturer and ask them to describe the operation of their firnace. They have no wish to have unhappy people out there who might give them a bad name. They will help you.

If you are reusing the old thermostat, it may need readjusted. Normally I suggest leaving the adjustments alone, but it could be the problem. I think there are directions on adjusting it in the sticky at the top of the heating forum, and I know there is a tip to sort out furnace and thermostat problems.

I would thing adjusting the thermostat would be part of installing the furnace, but your installer may argue that point.
