    Title of Old Anime Movie from childhood?
    HI, I'm trying to remember this old anime movie that I used to watch from my childhood. I'm pretty sure this was science fiction...

    It started with some kind of a war, I think it was humans vs humans, and this girl was found washed up on a beach by some guy.

    This guy took her home, but when she woke up, she started shouting in a different language, so the guy put some kind of an earring on her and she could suddenly understand. Then he realized she was a girl from the enemy nation or something

    I remember her father was a general or something, and was franticly searching for his daughter.

    Anyway, the guy and the girl also fell in love, and I remember that they went on a date to this one place in italy (or I think it was italy I don't know lol) where he pretended his hand was stuck in the mouth of a rock statue/wall (I remember this actually exists irl but I can't remember the name) and after she tried to get his hand out, he pulled it out and then they laughed.

    I can't remember anything else, but I also remember at the end there was a truce or something, where the daughter was reunited with the father, and the enemy fleet was coming down from the sky in their spaceships (much like gundam spaceships) and everyone was really happy... lol

    Any help? It's been flashing in my mind for years now and I think now is the time to try to figure out what it is lol...
