Yes, you can breastfeed again. Just put your baby to the breast and feed him. After breastfeeding for three months, you have built up a good supply and all it needs is some quality time with the baby to get it going again. Spending time skin to skin (try cuddling up in bed with just the two of you) will help to bring up your milk supply quickly.

As for the wine, the general rule is if you are safe to hold and care for your baby, you are safe to breastfeed. While a small amount of alcohol does make its way into breastmilk, your body will do a good job of filtering out most of it. The rules of breastfeeding are different from breastfeeding.

There is no reason why you can't breastfeed again. Good luck to both of you.

Eileen is correct. Since the wine was in the few days passed, you don't have to worry.

Women used to be told to pump and dump the next feeding if they had a drink. We now know that you can have an occasional drink while breastfeeding. So you can still have a glass of wine now and then if you choose to. Some women are more comfortable timing it with a feed. Feed baby first, then enjoy your drink with your meal, for example. You will then have a bit of time before the next feed.
