    Okae my cousin is 16 years old and she is complaining about her anus being swollen sharp pains in her side and mucous coming from her anus can you please explain whether she has a STD or just an infection, and she had sex with her boyfriend about a week ago.

    Sharp pains and mucus and pain from her anus require a visit to a Physician. It could be anything. Yes, she could have an STD. Yes, she could have an infection.

    Yes it could be many things, she needs to see a doctor
