If it wasn't hard already I was recently placed on house arrest for two years. I can't even go grocery shopping or anything like that. I feel like were drifting apart and I can't stop it. I'm excited about the baby and I love my girlfriend to death but her mood swings don't help with my already high anxiety and depression. What can I do to show her I really care and to stop the fighting?

Is she able to come see you? Keep the communication going in any fashion possible... phone calls, online, texting, etc..

Ask about how she is feeling, ask about the baby and what has gone on at any doctor's appointments. Sentimental touches can sometimes be helpful when you can't be together as often as you would like to... sending cards (the old fashioned way, by mail), have flowers delivered, maybe purchase some small baby items online and have them delivered to her house, a CD of some music she likes, etc. It doesn't have to be all the time, but just now and then with a note that you have been thinking of her and are excited about the birth of your child.

It can be a fine line between not responding back angrily if you feel she may be becoming upset over something you don't think is a problem, and coming off as not taking her feelings seriously. That may help avoid some of the fighting.

Practice letting some things slide. This doesn't mean you have to take any rude or harsh treatment if that is the situation. You can tell her when something is hurtful without blaming it on pregnancy hormones.

Some women when they get pregnant hate the person they love if that make since. When I was pregnant with my 3 kids I couldn't stand to hear my husband breath trust me it will get better after she have the baby just try to be nice to her an understanding. Talk about the baby every pregnant women like to talk about the baby
